 Sierra-Chrysalis Imaging Services Ltd. uses the Canon EOS 1D line of Digital Cameras and the professional EOS L-series line of lens to capture the best pictures attainable in the market today. The EOS 1D line of cameras currently in use can attain 8.5 frames per second on an 8.2 mega-pixel chip with a frame buffer up to 48 frames. Canon is currently in the process of releasing the new EOS 1D mkIII which will improve on an already outstanding camera with a 10 mega-pixel chip at 10 frames per second with a frame buffer of 110 frames.  Some of our lenses include the 85mm F1.2L, the 200mm F1.8L and the venerable 400mm image stabalized F2.8L. Anyone of these lenses stands in a class by itself for super fast, tack sharp detail. Sierra-Chrysalis Imaging Services Ltd. owns and operates it own Noritsu 3202 Pro. This is a fully digital RA-4 print processor and is capable of printing up to 1620 prints per hour. It will print from the smallest size all the way up to 12x36 inch prints. Having this printer allows Sierra-Chrysalis to have very short turn around times on our printed product but also allows us full control from the initial shots to the digital editing through to the final product output. |
